A Lightning Fast Visit

Well, the time is flying by and I don’t have a minute to post anything of substance. The fact is, I can’t work, prepare for Christmas and also blog and participate in my on-line hobbies. Something has to go – and unfortunately, it’s the last. I haven’t posted a meal at CooksKorner or eGullet in ages and probably won’t until after the holidays. I have barely gone to my two favorite sites (Rachel’s and Maggie’s) and miss them so much. Visiting ‘Lawn Tea’ and ‘Cheap and Cheerful’ is like sitting down for a good gossip with friends. I feel out of touch and sad to be missing all of the things that I want to be involved in, but I have to prioritize. So – I’m not gone, just busy and am doing what I have to do. I just didn’t want anyone to think that I’ve given up here. Though, to be honest, I sometimes think I should. Blogging makes me feel slightly guilty – like I’m indulging myself at the expense of my real responsibilities. But I love it so much that I’ll struggle on, I think.

So – Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Here’s hoping I’m back before my one year anniversary on January 9th!

  1. You will be, Sweetpea, with that camera and that pink kitchen and all that gorgeous food in the dining room.

I have that little niggle-naggle that I'm letting someone down if I don't post often, and it's like Dr. Phil said, "You wouldn't worry so much about what people think of you if you really knew how seldom they do."

That's what I keep telling myself, but it's like a commitment.

I look forward to each, every, any and all you can manage---love to see what you're doing and how your dear family is, and what's cookin'.

Hope you're staying warm---heard you got a lot of this and it's 13 right now at ten-to-ten pee-emm.

    love and,
